The nearest big supermarket to me is Tesco who are apparently going to trial

Incidentally, in 2001, Tesco's turnover excluding VAT was £20 988 000 000 -
Corporate Watch
report that "Tesco had said it would commit £2million (0.5% of its half-yearly profits) to ethical trading, but was unable to say how it had been spent".
