mark thomas...

You can't help liking Mark Thomas - he's not always funny, his politics are sometimes a little bit off, but on the whole he does good - last week he covered the dumping of out of date and otherwise useless drugs by pharmaceutical companies on the third word, and tried to rally support as follows:

"What You Can Do

Mark and the team want you to send Gordon Brown your unwanted, out of date and useless pharmaceutical products. Just to let the chancellor know what it feels like to be on the receiving end of unwanted charity. The address to send your donations to is:

Chancellor of the Exchequer
No 11 Downing Street
London
SW1A 2AA"

...which is a fine idea and I may send my spleen...

This week covered the Simon Jones/Casualisation stuff - there is a day of action to mark the fourth anniversery of Simon's death...

Also on a political note, it is good to see that Class War are as prescient as ever, their poll on which royal would be next to snuff it conducted after the death of Margaret giving the QM a whopping 58% lead - perhaps it's the information they get from their pals in MI5!
