Tsutomu Matsumoto has worked out how to fool fingerprint based security measures; this has been rather widely reported, and I wouldn't be wasting your time with it here if it wasn't for the fact that Tsutomu's report is online, and is quoted again by the BBC (here for example), but no-one seems to have noticed that the background of his (pdf) presentation features the Star Fleet logo prominently in the background, and uses the PADDS computer layout from star trek as well...
(ps: I think this is, in it's own minor way, an accidents aren't naughty exclusive!)
