Have not posted for a while, but that doesn't mean I have not been playing...made a song, you can download it by doing the right-click-save-as thing here, and you can gasp at the reviews here and here...
I also made a wall. I might take a picture and put it up, I am so v. pleased...
The other thing that was keeping me amused a week or so ago was the unfolding Star Wars Kid video saga. The kid in question - a rather stout 15 year old borrowed his school video camera and then taped himself doing jedi style light sabre moves with a mop - and then didn't delete it. His friends (yeah, right) found it and released it into the wild via Kazaa, and then some techie types remixed it adding authentic special effects, and suddenly the Star Wars Kid (SWK) was a star. The video was mirrored at Waxy.org and downloaded millions of times - the people running the site began to feel guilty, and organised a fundraiser, the idea being that they would buy the SWK an i-pod...a week later, they had $4,334.44, and numerous gifts of software, signed goodies etc. I've just been back to Waxy to get the URL, and things have gone a bit sour...lawyers are involved, attempting to sue the friends who first uploaded it. That seems a shame - I laughed at the SWK, but laughed because it could have so easily been me. I think most people who gave money did so for the same reason. Good luck, SWK...
